Empowering You for a Confident, Informed, and Supported Birth Experience

You’ve probably heard it before—birth is more like a marathon than a sprint. And just like you wouldn’t show up to run 26.2 miles without training, we believe that preparing your body and mind for labor is one of the most important things you can do before baby arrives.

Our Birth Preparation Series is a set of four private prenatal sessions designed to help you and your birth partner feel strong, connected, and ready—physically, emotionally, and mentally—for whatever your labor journey may bring.

What’s Included in Our 4-Session Series

Pelvic Opening & Mobility Work

Each stage of labor benefits from specific positions and movements to help create space in your pelvis. In our sessions, we guide you through targeted mobility and movement strategies that support the natural mechanics of labor—so your baby has the space and opportunity to move down and out more easily.

You’ll learn how to use movement intentionally to progress labor, ease discomfort, and feel more in control.

Perineal Massage & Pelvic Floor Awareness

Preparing the pelvic floor for birth is essential, especially if you're hoping to reduce tearing or improve your postpartum recovery. We guide you in how to do perineal massage safely and effectively—and teach you how to become more aware of tension patterns in your body that can show up during labor.

By building that mind-body connection, you’ll learn how to release tension during contractions and push more effectively when it’s time.

Postpartum Recovery Planning

Your body doesn’t stop needing support once baby arrives. That’s why we include time to discuss what postpartum movement and recovery should look like, how to reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, and how to avoid common pitfalls that can delay healing.

We set you up with a roadmap for those crucial early weeks—so you’re not left guessing what’s “normal” or when to ask for help.

Breathing, Relaxation & Pushing Practice

Your breath is one of the most powerful tools during birth. We’ll teach you how to use it to relax your pelvic floor, stay grounded, and work with—not against—your contractions.
You’ll also get to practice pushing in positions that align with your body’s natural rhythms, so when the time comes, you’ll feel confident, not caught off guard.

Partner Training & Hands-On Support

We don’t just prepare you—we prepare your birth partner too!
Your partner will learn hands-on comfort measures, counterpressure techniques, labor positions, and ways to support you physically and emotionally during birth. We believe a supported birthing person is a more empowered one—and your partner will walk away knowing exactly how to help.

Why Choose Our Birth Prep Sessions?

Most childbirth education classes don’t go this in-depth on the pelvic floor, partner support, or movement mechanics of labor. Our holistic, one-on-one sessions are designed to meet you where you are and support your unique goals and preferences—whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between.

We’re here to help you go into labor feeling informed, capable, and calm, not fearful—because fear can actually interrupt the natural flow of labor.

Real Client Story: Karen’s Birth Transformation

“After a long and hard birth with my daughter, I developed pelvic floor pain. I thought it would go away as I healed, but 2 years later, it was still there. I was pregnant with my second and was worried it would interfere with this birth.

I worked with Michelle, who helped me realize that I had a lot of tension down there. She worked with me on breathing exercises that would help in labor and also helped me to be much more aware of the tension I had and how to relax my pelvic floor.

During labor and each contraction, I focused on relaxing my pelvic floor and I was able to have an absolute dream birth with my 2nd baby—with only 5 minutes of pushing!”

Get Ready for a Better Birth

Birth doesn’t have to feel unpredictable or overwhelming. With the right tools, support, and body awareness, you can approach labor with confidence and clarity.

Whether you’re a first-time parent or preparing for a VBAC or redemptive second birth, our Birth Preparation Series can help you feel strong, safe, and supported.

Let’s get you ready.
